Jorge Bustamante started Workforce Industries in Louisville in 2018, cleaning condominium buildings. It is not the easiest place to begin. A building is used constantly by people who did not hire you and cannot be asked to work around you, the standard has to hold on a Sunday as well as a Tuesday, and the first person to notice a corner that got skipped is a resident or somebody being shown a vacant unit. Learning the trade there is the reason our commercial scopes are written down line by line rather than agreed with a handshake.

From there the work spread the only way it ever has for us — sideways, by recommendation. A property manager moved to another building and took us with them. A resident asked whether we did houses. Someone's sister needed a move-out clean before a deposit inspection. Almost every job we have booked since 2018 arrived because somebody passed our name along, which is both a compliment and, honestly, a fragile way to run a business. This site exists so that people who would have been recommended to us can find us on their own.

Today we clean houses, apartments, offices, condominium common areas and small commercial units across Louisville and about thirty miles around it, including southern Indiana across the river. We work in English and in Spanish, the same crew comes back to your property each visit, and Jorge still walks and prices every job himself.
